Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vantage, a product of Alta Signal Co LLC, doing business as Alta Signal Co ("we," "us," "our"). By purchasing or using Vantage, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of service

Vantage helps you build a tailored resume and cover letter using your own words, based on answers you provide to job-specific questions, an optional existing resume, and the job description you're targeting. We also offer an optional feature suggesting more precise, industry-appropriate terminology, which you review and approve before anything is changed. Vantage does not guarantee any interview, job offer, or employment outcome.

2. Payment & access

Vantage offers two one-time access passes: Ping, a $7 payment granting access to the tool for 24 hours from the time of purchase, and Broadcast, a $12 payment granting access for 7 days from the time of purchase. Both are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, and neither auto-renews.

Each pass includes a set number of AI generations (covering resume/cover letter builds and terminology-polish suggestions combined), sized generously for normal use within the pass's access window. The current allowance for each pass is shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. This fair-use limit exists to keep the service available and affordable for everyone; it is not intended to restrict ordinary use of the tool.

3. Refund policy

All sales are final once you have generated a tailored resume using the tool. This applies even if you do not use the full number of AI generations included with your pass or the full access window — the generation allowance and time window are the terms of the pass, not a guarantee that you will use all of it, and unused generations or time do not entitle you to a partial refund or credit. If you purchased an access pass but never generated a resume, contact hello@altasignalco.com within 7 days of purchase to request a refund.

4. Accuracy & your responsibility

Content generated by Vantage is produced by an AI system (Anthropic's Claude) based on the information you provide. Like all AI systems, Claude can occasionally "hallucinate" — producing text that is inaccurate, fabricated, or nonsensical, even when it reads as confident and well-formed. Vantage's prompts are designed to work only from your own words and avoid inventing accomplishments, which reduces but does not eliminate this risk. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing any resume, cover letter, or suggested content — including every fact, number, and claim — before submitting it to an employer or any third party. Do not use this service to submit false or misleading information about your qualifications.

5. Ownership

You own the resume, cover letter, and content generated for you through this service. Alta Signal Co. retains all rights to the underlying software, design, and branding of Vantage.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use this service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit content on behalf of someone else without their consent
• Attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service
• Resell or redistribute access to the tool

7. Third-party services

Vantage relies on Stripe for payment processing and Anthropic's Claude API for AI generation. Your use of this service is also subject to those providers' respective terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

This service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. We do not guarantee that use of this tool will result in interviews, job offers, or employment.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alta Signal Co LLC's total liability arising from your use of this service is limited to the amount you paid for access.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
